Why are data and data systems important for a construction company? We ONLY need to build!

Anton Gasteiger, CEO, Baumeister (b.i.m.m GmbH)
TODAY, a construction company can manage a construction site using PDFs and printed plans. TOMORROW, the data will be presented as digital models. Tomorrow’s clients expect both – the BRICKS AND MORTAR, i.e. the actual construction, and a DIGITAL building, i.e. all documents relating to the building linked to a digital 3D model.

But of course, the digital data is also important for the construction company. Let’s just imagine that a certain part of the building knows what materials are needed for it. The material required is recorded in the construction company’s system, the supplier’s system and linked to the estimate, the invoice and the accounting system. This enables us to perform comprehensive evaluations: How many hours did which team need for which work? What was concreted when and in what weather conditions? We save a lot of work steps – and that is our goal. Time is money and Sitelife is THE solution.”
